Senior Event - Cooking Demonstration with Cole Woon, Rachel and Jean
On Saturday 12th of July up in the Chinese Association Room, 30 people from all ages participated in a hands on cooking demonstration. We made sesame balls, tapioca cake, dim sims and curry triangles. Everyone had a lot of fun getting their hands dirty and socialising together. A big thanks goes out to all the helpers that came and especially to the demonstrators Cole Woon Chin, Rachel Young and Jean Lai. Because of such a great turnout for this event watch out for another demonstration next year!
The New Zealand Chinese Association is a national organisation with over 80 years of uninterrupted history, comprising of 14 branches throughout New Zealand.
It represents the interests of both long-established and new Chinese migrant groups.
