Sik Fan Lah! & our cultural identity 开饭啦！食飯啦！

There is a new TV series Sik Fan Lah!（开饭啦！食飯啦！） Which will screen on TVNZ1 from 12 Feb at 10am. The show combines stories about our cultural history/identity with food. It will no doubt make delicious viewing!

A couple of our members appear/feature in the Otago episode- Jean Lai and Janice Huang. That episode will screen on 5 March. More information of the program can be found here

 

Our Association will be organising a series of talks on our cultural identities.  Some of us were born here, others born in China, or wider China, or overseas. 

 

We have our different stories, but we are all Chinese. Let’s share those stories.
